There are many ways you can get involved with our mission and help Digs with Dignity’s families. Whether it’s sharing a post on social media, donating that extra set of gently used towels in your closet, or funding our next move, you can make a difference in the lives of our future families!

Apart from our operational costs, additional funds allow us to grow and impact more Chicago families, furnishing 65 families in 2023, and increase our environmental impact by reducing the amount of furniture disposed of in landfills. Donate Furniture
When function and style come together, a house becomes a home. A home is everything-stability, security, identity. Those extra picture frames that lie empty, that rolled up rug in a dark storage unit, or that set of dishes that sit unused in a cabinet can be given a new life in someone’s home. Holding onto a piece that needs a bit of love? We welcome your broken drawers and scuffed tables because a little, or a lot, of elbow grease has never scared us! If you have gently-used furniture or home goods you’d like to donate, please use our online submission form.
Volunteer
We are putting our faith in you, the community, to help support our mission. Volunteers are the lifeblood of DIGS. We are always looking for help to sort donations in our warehouse, design for upcoming families and assist the DIGS team on move-in days. Interested in lending a hand? Sign up here.
