Ready To DIG In?

From organizing furniture in our warehouse to leading drives in the community, volunteers help turn donated items into beautifully designed homes for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. You’re not just working with home goods, you’re helping provide stability, dignity and a fresh start.

Whether you’re part of a corporate team, a community group or joining us on your own, there’s a place for you in every home we furnish. Sort incoming donations, select the perfect furniture and accessories for upcoming DIGS Families and upcycle projects to customize used items for their new homes – there’s a task for all interests and skills!

Individual Volunteers

Want to get involved on your own or with a friend? Individual volunteers support DIGS in a variety of ways, including sourcing and organizing donations, collaborating with designers to style homes and more!

If you’re looking to lend a hand occasionally – or become a regular volunteer – there’s always space for you to PLUG IN and make an impact!

Corporate Volunteers

Seeking a meaningful team-building experience? DIGS offers customized volunteer opportunities for corporate teams ranging from 5 to 50 people.

Your team can roll up their sleeves in our warehouse, help prepare homes for move-in day or organize a company-wide furniture drive that directly supports families rebuilding their lives.

Community Volunteers

DIGS welcomes all nonprofit organizations to volunteer in support of our mission. Together, we can make the change in our community!

Groups can join us in the warehouse for a hands-on service experience or organize a furniture/home goods drive to help furnish future DIGS families.

Host A Furniture Drive

Furniture drives are one of the most impactful ways to support DIGS. Individuals, companies and community groups can organize drives to collect gently used furniture and home goods that will help furnish homes for families transitioning out of homelessness.

We’ll work with you to pickup, plan, promote and coordinate your drive to make the most of your collection effort. It takes a village!
