furniture Donations
If you have any gently used items that you would like to donate to Digs with Dignity, please fill out the online donation submission form below and our donation review team will be in touch within 2 weeks. We currently offer pick up service within Chicago city limits only.
**We offer a truck pickup once a month with 8-12 spots available. We require a $50-$500 donation (depending on the number of items) to offset the cost of truck maintenance, pickup crew, and gas. All items must be at ground level or in a garage for pickup. Items, like beds and dining tables, must be disassembled as our pickup crew does not carry tools.

- Clothing
- Lighting Fixtures (i.e. things that need to be installed/hardwired)
- Barstools
- cribs & crib mattresses
- blinds/custom drapery
- large pieces of furniture (large dining tables, china cabinets, armoires, large buffets, file cabinets, oversized sectionals, oversized chairs, sofa beds, large entertainment units, and futons)
- Large Appliances (washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, tube TVs etc.)
- KING size anything…mattresses, bedframes and linens
- Upholstered furniture that is stained, ripped, sun-faded or extremely worn
- Mattresses that are stained, ripped, extremely worn or have a history of bed bugs
- Furniture that has a history of bed bugs or other pests
- Rugs larger than 8′ x 10′
